AuthorHouse October Author Challenge

As has now become tradition, we start our monthly Author Challenge section by recognizing the previous month’s winners. In September’s challenge, we asked you to tell us, in 50 words or less, “What is the best thing about being a self-published author?” Once again, we had a fantastic response, with participants in the triple figures.

September’s Honorable Mentions, by theme:

Self-Publishing Made My Dreams Come True: Bernice Cooper
Self-Publishing Allows Me to Share My Story with the World: Jeffrey DeLaRosa
Self-Publishing Allows Me to Leave a Legacy: Suzzee Meusel
Self Publishing Provides Author Support: Kenbra S. Berni
Self-Publishing Means the Author is in Control: Heather Askea
Self-Publishing Offers Validation as a Writer: Teri Leigh Thomas

Congratulations to the AuthorHouse September Author Challenge Winner

Dona Paquita:
“Self-publishing allows one with deep desires to express thoughts that would otherwise be unheard. You can write about your world; your way. Training wheels into the world of publishing. The reward for me was hearing the excitement in someone’s voice, about me being an author. It gave me courage.”

Dona wins her choice of either a FREE AuthorHouse Basic E-book Publishing Package (black and white or color) or a Press Release – Essential Edition.
