David Gurney’s new book, “Just Like Us: Round the Cradle, the Cross and the Crown” (published by AuthorHouse ), is a vivid snapshot of the possible reactions of no fewer than 21 characters who came into contact with Jesus of Nazareth. It ranges over a wide spectrum of individuals, from Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist, to Paul, Apostle to the Gentiles.
