Joyce Hum’s Christian fiction, “Zoose Empowered: The Victory of the Son” (published by AuthorHouse), tells the story of Zoose, a special type of angel called a schem, who is sent from God to help a young boy named John Paul who has lost his mother.

Zoose’s specific task is to defeat evil in the heart of young John Paul. With this mission being his first visit to Earth, he is quite perplexed and has much to learn, and quickly discovers just how big of a challenge it is to battle demons.

“Zoose Empowered” demonstrates life issues and human strengths and weaknesses that have been present throughout history and continue into the future. With her story, Hum hopes to demonstrate God’s love and desire to intervene and change people’s lives for the better.
