Omar Dickson pens entertaining thriller set in present-day Egypt, ‘Teamwork & Terror’

NEWHAVEN, England (PRWEB) October 31, 2012

Author Omar Dickson puts a modern spin on the classic spy novel in his new thriller, “Teamwork & Terror” (published by AuthorHouse).
I love telling stories and sharing experiences The great, exciting page-turners of Ian Fleming, Desmond Bagley and Alastair Maclean are thrilling reads. I wanted to give today’s readers the same pleasure with a modern twist
Set in present-day North Africa, “Teamwork & Terror” takes readers into Cairo’s seedy underworld on a series of adventures with Darren Hudson, a freelance geophysicist and reluctant British intelligence agent who is the hero of the story despite being a bit roguish and disreputable.

Working with ex-Egyptian intelligence officers, Darren sets out in search of a cache of deadly chemical weapons. He’s also tasked with foiling a terrorist plot, but all is not what it seems and he becomes embroiled in a tangled web of government deceit and cover-ups.

“Teamwork & Terror” will appeal to fans of the thriller/spy genre and any reader who enjoys learning about different cultures. “As well as being a thrilling tale it gives deep insights into modern Egyptian society and culture,” Dickson writes. “It lets the reader see through the eyes of very diverse characters – if we could all do this maybe we can get closer to world peace.”
