Kristen Calenda’s new illustrated children’s book “Nubiana: A True Story About A Very Special Kitty” (published by AuthorHouse) is the inspirational true story of how a disheveled and unwelcome cat changes the life of her unexpected new guardians, true non-lovers of cats.
Calenda has visited the island since she was a child, and in recent years has brought her cats to the island with her, even taking the three of them, in a stroller, to visit the Abrams Animal Farm.
